Biggest influences: My teachers, Marty Hurley, Dr. John Wooton, Dr. John Rausch, Dr. Robert Schietroma, Ed Soph, Leigh Howard Stevens and drummers whose records I grew up playing along to especially Steve Smith and John Bonham

Favorite album you played on: University of North Texas Wind Symphony, Deja View featuring Deja Vu for Four Percussion Soloists and Wind Ensemble

Favorite album you didn't play on: every Led Zeppelin album

Career highligh: Having David Maslanka include the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Percussion Ensemble's recording of Crown of Thorns on his website.
