Hello from the Vault. My name is Mark Love and I'm a product specialist with SABIAN. I've had the pleasure of basically growing up with SABIAN. I've been playing cymbals and developing new and exciting sounds for the last 29 years. Every day has an exciting challenge. What a gig!!
Hello SABIAN Fans!
The first US Vault Tour stop took place at Huber and Breese in Detroit, MI! We had a rainy start to the day as we set up our 200 cymbal display outside under a large tent. The weather improved before the scheduled event time and we had many customers checking out the great selection of prototypes.
SABIAN's Bob Rupp helped Martin Wood pick out a new XS20 Brilliant Prototype, while Bob Lorenzo had a pair of 14" hi-hats hand-hammered on site by Allie Cougle!
Allie was hard at work hammering and lathing custom cymbals for drummers who were looking for that perfect pair of hats and special crash cymbal. What a great day it turned out to be with lots of cymbal sales and non-stop product questions. We also had lots of interest in the prototypes displayed on the website. At the end of the day, the SABIAN Vault Tour crew presented the staff of Huber & Breese with a Vault Tour cymbal signed by Bob and Andy Zildjian.
