Day 12 - Nashville, TN - Fork's Drum Closet
October 10, 2009
Our next stop was Fork’s Drum closet in Nashville, TN. We pulled up to the store Saturday morning and thank goodness there was no rain! What a great store, with tons of great drums and cymbals. Their snare drum room is amazing! After checking out all their great gear in the shop, we set up Allie out in front of the store so he could lathe and hammer away for all customers to watch him in action. We then we set up a ton our prototype cymbals inside the store for all the anxious customers to try out. From the time we started the event until the very end, we had a constant flow of people and we sold tons of cymbals today! We even had a surprise guest stop by to see us. Sabian artist and drummer for country artist Keith Urban Chris McHugh stopped by with his drum tech Mark Arnold to say hello to everyone. In fact they had just come off the tour bus that morning from a concert in Buffalo, NY!
Overall, I thought the day went so fast because it was so busy! Before I knew it, it was time to pack up. The Sabian Crew would like to thank Gary and Melissa Forkum and their great staff for their gracious hospitality. Gary himself picked out one of our prototype crashes to bring to a gig that evening!

Our next stop is Johnson City, TN
See you there!
