Sal Abruscato has been playing drums since he was 10 years old and co-founded the legendary metal band Type O Negative with Peter Steel in 1989. He can be heard on the Type O albums 'Slow, Deep and Hard', 'Origin Of The Feces' & 'Bloody Kisses'. Songs were also featured on the Mortal Kombat, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Nosferatu soundtracks. Also on Type O's DVD 'After Dark' and the 'Least Worst of Type O Negative Greatest Hits' compilation. Sal is also credited recording with Supermassiv's Resurrection EP. Currently Sal plays for Life of Agony and recorded their 'Broken Valley' and 'River Runs Red Ugly' compilation and subsequent DVD and Live album. Sal also currently plays for My Mortality. His ferocious approach to the kit is rooted in a deep groove that always supports the music even at its most intense moments.
