Drumset Artists Aldo Mazza

Aldo Mazza is an internationally recognized drummer and percussionist. He is a member of Répercussion for the past thirty years. A master clinician in classical percussion, world music and drumset, he has also played and recorded over a hundred CDs with artists such as Bon Jovi, Celine Dion, Aldo Nova, James Brown, Chris DeBurgh, David Amran, Alain Caron, Petula Clark, Frank Sinatra Jr., Nikki Yanofsky, and I Musici de Montreal, among others. Aldo has performed with major symphony orchestras including the Montreal Symphony, SMCQ (Quebec Contemporary Music Organization), Jazz Festivals such as the Montreal Jazz Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival, and other world class events like Expo 86 in Vancouver, Expo 92 in Seville, and the Millenium concert in Montreal.

Aldo is the Founder and Artistic Director of the KoSA International Percussion Workshops and Festivals since 1996. Eight years ago, Aldo established the annual KoSA Cuba Workshops. He has also created a year-round world-music school in Montreal, the KoSA Academy.
