The 2011 North Florida PAS Day of Percussion was a huge success - Jeff Prosperie performed a clinic, and several solos including his "triple crown" (DCI,PAS,DCA) individual championship snare drum solo. He also evaluated over a dozen marching percussion ensembles in a non-competitive clinic format. His clinic traced the history of marching percussion from colonial times to the present and demonstrated practical transfer value applications to xylophone, glockenspiel and drum set. Educational and life skill concepts were also shared with the audience and homage was paid to his recently deceased teacher/mentor/friend Marty Hurley to the more than 300 people in attendance.
