Dan Smithiger hosts Day of Percussion

Dan Smithiger recently hosted the "McKendree University Day of Percussion", featuring guest artist Dr. Michael Vercelli on African percussion. He has also presented  clinics at Cape Central High School (Cape Girardeau, MO.), Collinsville High School (Collinsville, IL), and as an ensemble judge at IHSA in early March. Upcoming engagements include a publication in Percussive Notes (Fall 2008), a cymbal clinic at the Illinois Day of Percussion, and he is co-directing the Midwest Percussion Camp on July 13 - 18 at McKendree University.
