Two of Today's Greatest Percussionists Roll With Carlos Santana
With a surprisingly varied roster of all-star guest artists, the closing show of American Idol sure wasn't short on surprises! One of the highlights, though, was Carlos Santana's instrumental take on Black Magic Woman... and those behind-the-scenes shots of two of today's greatest percussionists - Santana's Karl Perazzo on timbales, and American Idol's Kevin Ricard on congas - doing their thing in a big, big way. You may have seen Kevin throughout the season, stepping up to play cajon or congas with 'the Idols'. And hey, dig that O-Zone Crash!
PS: Did you know that Black Magic Woman is originally a Fleetwood Mac tune?
