was a big influence in his music career his father inspired him to play the drums at the age of two. By the time Jimmy turned five he was playing for a local church. Jimmy started playing professionally by the age of ten. Jimmy played his first session at the age of thirteen. After the session, he was interviewed then asked the question, “how did u pull that session off at a very young age?” Jimmy recalls, “My father was very hard on me coming up musically, he wanted me to be the best I could be, and play like its my last because you never know when it would be.” So Jimmy applied all the things his father taught him as being not just a good musician but also a disciplined musician. Jimmy toured the east coast at the age fifteen on a gospel musical stage play. He also played with artist such as Angela Winbush, Kelly Price, Dorthy Norwood, Freeway, Mike Cooper from the group Confunkshun just to name a few Jimmy is currently playing for Byron Cage, Dave Hollister, and Lil Mo'. He have recently recorded for artist Jason Champion (EMI), Suai (Universal), Dave Hollister (Zomba), Lil Mo' (Universal), Brutha (Def Jam). Jimmy is now currently touring with Byron Cage and Fantasia (American Idol winner) whom is filming a reality show for VH1, in which myself and band will be featured in Jan. 2010.
