Biography
I'm partial to my Brilliant Finish 22" HH Powerbell Ride, says Shannon, who made the leap from Amen to Godsmack and now lives 'a dream come true'. Raised on Keith Moon, John Bonham, and his favorite, Neil Peart, Shannon also plays bass and sings. Fans can get a taste of that listening to his other band- Another Animal. Shannon recently released his first instructional DVD on IMV titled: BEHIND THE PLAYER: SHANNON LARKIN. He describes his playing as 'concussive'. Drumming is all about freedom of expression and he is certainly one of the most expressive showman to ever sit on a drum throne.
