Biography

Kent Lineberry is a Pearl Marching Artist, Evans Performing Artist, and a member of the Vic Firth Education Team. He lives in the St. Louis, Missouri area with his wonderful wife, Debbie. He currently serves as the Director of Operations for an educational company serving Missouri, Kansas, and southwest Illinois.

Kent serves as the quad tech for Gateway Indoor Percussion, and has since 2005. He also served on the percussion staff of the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps from 2000 to 2005, and did a brief stint in 2007. These two organizations are very special to his heart.

Kent is a founding member of the Battering Rams, the St. Louis Rams NFL drumline. He has also worked with many successful high school percussion programs in the area, including Jefferson City High School, O’Fallon Township High School (where he served as Assistant Marching Band Director), and Parkway South High School.

Kent has been a percussion and visual adjudicator throughout the Midwest for more than a decade, and writes drill and staging for some of the most competitive marching bands and indoor drumlines in the country. Kent has also been fortunate enough to teach clinics on quad drumming and marching percussion in the Midwest. He has also served on the Percussion Advisory Board for WGI (2009).
