German Siman is a musician that has been formed with teachers such as Horacio Gianello, Steve Zenz, Bebe Caniza, Zurdo Roque, and Andres Coppa. He focuses his art through percussion, using it as a necessary tool to express his feelings and ideas. He's been part of varies music groups such as Triple X, German Siman Trio, German Siman X Band, German Siman Quinteto, Gabriel Fonseca Jazz Quartet, Cordoba Jazz Orchestra, Los Intocables, Bird Jazz Quintet, Carlos Torres, Ultimo Deseo, Cain, Maria Fernanda Altamirano and others and has shared the stage with musicians such as Steve Zenz, Tim Bell, Nick Schneider, Chris White, Sid Jacobs, Dominic Spera, Matt Askynazzo, Don Pashby, Bill Sears, Laurie Sears, Greg Keel, Phil Ostrander, Sebastián Zambrana, Quique Sinesi, Laura Caviani, Lennie Foy, Luis Marin, John Stowell, Bill Barnard, Mariano Loiácono, Chris Olson, Luke Gillespie, Pablo Motta, Dave Hanke, Gabriel Canatta, Cacho Garcia, Julio Botti, Ariel Sanchez, Andres Coppa, Eduardo Elia, Federico Seimandi, Fernando Calvi, Nestor Estorello, Walter Estorello, Guillermo Arce, Sergio Alonso, Erika Hepp, Carlos Bini, Pablo Lopez, Alejandro Saul, Daniel Tita, Zurdo Roque, Sergio Audicio, Victor Avila, German Suarez, Lali Suarez, Guadalupe Gomez, Daniel Corso, Pablo Allende, Pablo Elorza, Gabriel Juncos, Santiago Cusi, Jose Losano, Ricardo Bujaldon, Marco Stockhausen , Aureliano Marin, Javier Pedrocca, Dario Iscaro, Bruce Oscar, Rolo Casas, Mauricio Goldemberg, Osvaldo Ferri and others.
He has also developed a career in music education. Recognizes an important social role in music, and within this vision can one comprehend the projects initiated by him. In 1990, after varies years of private teaching he funded La Escuelita – Escuela de Musica Cordoba, which he directs. In 2005 he starts two important projects along with his friend and colleague Steve Zens: The Cordoba Jazz Orchestra and the Cordoba Jazz Camp. The first one was conformed by some of the best jazz musicians in Cordoba along with American musicians. The Jazz Camp, wich he directs as well, is a nouvelle experience in jazz music teaching in Argentina, being its angle what makes it different from other seminaries in the country, besides the collaboration and faculty of international musicians.
This year the camp had the presence of musicians such as Ron Anthony, Tim Collins, Chad Bloom. German Siman shared the stage with them at the final concert and previously in concerts promoting the camp.
