Biography

Daniel Segura is a Colombian drummer who started his career 15 years ago. He has had many musical experiences with different musical genres and interpretations in records, productions and concerts. Among others, the following are his most representative participations in bands and artists:

• Alberto Plaza Chilean artist, as main drummer in Colombia;
• Báez, Colombian artist, as main drummer, in the recently carried out concerts “Nuestra Tierra”, by La Mega radio station, “Radio Uno” at Simón Bolivar Park, and other performances at national level.
• Andrés Osorio band, in the project Progressive Instrumental Rock, and several concert such as “Rock al Parque 2008”, and in diverse clinics for the brands Mapex, Sabian, Gibson and Digitech in collaboration with the musical instrument shops La Colonial and Bazoom, in different Colombian cities.
• Additionally, Master Francisco Cristancho, Leo Dan, Los Angeles Negros, Los Terrícolas and Los Hermanos Arriagada, are some of the artists Daniel has worked with.

Daniel is also complementing his performance with academic experience. In Colombia Daniel has funded the first drum-dedicated academy named, TM Drumming (Tocando Madera). He also has experience as teacher in a number of academies, among others Francisco Cristancho and Visionarte.
