Charlie has been in demand as a top session player since the late 1970's. With over 150 album credits and numerous international TV shows, Charlie’s resumé reads like a who's who of pop music.

The Academy Awards, The Tonight Show, David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Elton John’s live satellite broadcasts from Barcelona, Spain, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Sydney, Australia (with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra).
He has also played on a number of movie soundtracks including:
Thelma & Louise, Kiss of Death, White Palace, GI Jane, Tomorrow Never Dies, Dancer In The Dark (for Björk, winner of the Cannes Festivals Palme D’Or), and Baz Luhrmann’s award winning musical, Moulin Rouge, as well as the latest Bond movie: A Quantum of Solace.
Research and development projects include pioneering work with Simmons Electronic Drums and Akai Samplers, two decades of consultancy work with Premier Percussion, and more recently, an eight year involvement with AKG microphones, and now a collaboration with Sennheiser.
He owns and runs a small recording studio at his home in Nashville, Tennessee, from which he is busy tracking drums for clients right across the globe.
