Anthony 'Tiny' Biuso was born in New York City in 1970 and raised on classic rock music. He played drums all through grade school and high school. He played in Jazz Octet, Jazz Ensemble, Dixieland and Marching band. Marching band soon became his favorite, the driving bass drum and snare discipline was great. He competed in several marching band competitions in the late 80's before graduating with music honors. Upon graduating he went on a 3 month tour of the South Pacific with C.W. Post College Orchestra. That tour took him to Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Moreaa, Bora Bora, Cook Islands, Tasmania and Hawaii.
In late 1988 Anthony went out to California to pursue his dream of becoming a "Rockstar". Enrolling in Musicians Institute in October proved to be the best decision for this New Yorker. He was soon shedding wood every day under the instruction of Joe Porcaro and Gary Hess. In 1989 he joined the band Rude Awakening and was soon on the road playing all over the country.
The Dickies hired him in 2003 for several US tours and a tour of Europe. T.S.O.L. hired him in 2004 as well. Pulling double duty for two veteran punk bands proved to be a serious chops builder. The bands would actually tailor their schedules for him, waiting till he was home! He also composes music and sound effects for TV shows and commercials with his writing partner Rick Torres. His drumming can be heard on FOX, WB, ESPN, HBO, FUSE and FUEL TV.
Anthony can be seen right now with the band (hed)p.e. which he joined in 2007 and on a rare occasion with T.S.O.L. (hed)p.e.'s album NEW WORLD ORPHANS will be released in January 09' with Anthony at the helm.
